Staffing and Caseloads

This section presents information about staff capacity, caseload distribution, and staff characteristics.

Why is this important?  Understanding how we staff our office helps to ensure that the office is spending its resources wisely, has enough people to be effective, and is supporting staff recruitment.

These numbers represent the number of felonies filed or resolved per prosecutor by quarter. These numbers do not reflect the total number of open cases being handled by each prosecutor.

These numbers represent the number of misdemeanors filed or resolved per prosecutor by quarter. These numbers do not reflect the total number of open cases being handled by each prosecutor.

A number of employees of the Boulder County District Attorney's Office are grant funded from grants awarded after we successfully applied for state or federal grants. Additionally, we have some employees that are temporary positions funded by Boulder County.
